The Redfish, also known as channel bass, red drum, spottail bass or simply reds, is a game fish that is found in the Atlantic Ocean from Massachusetts to Florida and in the Gulf of Mexico from Florida to Northern Mexico.
Red drum are a dark red color on the back, which fades into white on the belly. The red drum have
a characteristic eyespot near the tail and are somewhat streamlined. Three-year-old red drum typically weigh six to eight pounds. When they are near or over twenty-seven inches, they are called “bull reds”.

That huge redfish was Tara’s pride & joy.
She and Ted came out with us for the day to enjoy the beautiful ocean breeze, the warm sun and to come home with a monster catch! They were landing smaller fish left and right, until Tara lurched forward - she had a big one on her hook. With no help from the guys, she wrestled this beast until she wore him out. And now they have the fish on their wall at home, and an experience of a lifetime!
